Original artwork created in a stunning palette of blues to coordinate with any coastal space. The Authentic Bleu signature style and brand is all about movement of abstract ocean life and vibrant blue hues.
These abstract canvas pieces are painted in Acrylic. Whether a bold blue heron or a modern take on ocean life-there is a "look and style" in the paintings with beautiful tones of blue. Coastal inspired paintings using navy blue, turquoise, shades of sky and ocean blues and touches of white.
Many canvas sizes available as well as and giclee prints of certain paintings. Each giclee is a limited edition and numbered, signed by Catherine in various sizes and ready to frame. Gallery walls can be created with Authentic Bleu by Catherine Armbruster abstract paintings to make a statement.

OCEAN Up-cycled Containers-
I take PLASTIC single use bottles or containers and turn them into ART. They can be used as a vase for flowers, holder for pens/pencils, paint brushes, toiletries, etc. Call it UP-cycling, re-cycling, re-purposing, sustainable or simply "ART".
One of a kind beautiful containers which would have ended up in the ocean have now been transformed. Each piece is hand made with care and no two are alike. Beautiful ocean themed prints and patterns with stunning blue colors. Blue is my favorite color and the color of the ocean.
With all the miles-long plastic pieces ending up in the ocean, we all need to participate in helping to protect the marine life. By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the world’s oceans. As a blue planet with our ocean covering 3/4 of the earth, we can all do something, as I have.

DEFINITION OF AUTHENTIC:
Something that is real and genuine. The mission is to be authentic to ourselves and others, also the world. Having an affinity for the ocean and anything BLUE sparked the idea for this positive brand. The color BLUE resonates with me and I use it generously in my art. My art is meant to inspire people to feel the energy of the ocean and give back to it, saving the marine life from plastic.
WHY BLEU?
Bleu is the French spelling of the color blue, my favorite color and color of the ocean. The ocean is my passion to protect it from plastic. Let's do this together, one piece at a time, through ART.
