CLASs: OCEAN UP-CYCLED ART
CREATE ART WITH A PURPOSE CLASSES-
This class is filled with fun and purpose using PLASTIC containers to transform them into works of ART! Instead of adding more plastic and microplastics in the ocean, we will make beautiful, one of a kind artisanal containers, saving fish from eating them.
NO art skills necessary, all supplies included, teens to adults. Let's create and recycle together. Bring a plastic piece if you choose to work with, otherwise I provide that too.
Everyone thinks plastic gets recycled properly. We will learn that is not the case and will use plastic to make art. Call it up-cycling, re-cycling, re-purposing, sustainable living or simply art, we create together in a friendly, relaxing environment incorporating shells found locally on our beautiful beaches. The plastic you saved would have been ocean waste, instead you saved marine life. By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish AND only 5% of plastic actually gets recycled in the US. Let's do something for the ocean together.
These functional pieces of unique art can be used as a vase, planter, pen/pencil-paint brush holders, toiletries, gifts. Sign up with a friend or yourself. Do something good while having fun creating art, listening to music and meeting new creators.
